• KVP entered in the Register of Companies
• start of business in the former Agfa-Gevaert Mimosa Works with a staff of 26 under Dr. Karl-Ernst Fetting as Managing Director

• first powder mixtures and animal feed concentrates manufactured
• start of packaging operations: final packaging of Leucomycine Injection Solution, an antibiotic for working animals
• manufacturing license granted by the Ministry of Social affairs to make pharmaceutical products
• first liquid medicines and ointments manufactured
• first aerosols manufactured

1976

• first tablets manufactured
• KVP officially inaugurated
• Quality Control Department established

1983

• first small tubes (pipettes) manufactured
• purchase of works site of approx. 43,000 m²

1985

• first collars manufactured by means of injection moulding

1987

• first ointments manufactured under sterile conditions

1991

• purchase of plot of land of approx. 23,000 m²
• planning permission granted (plan no. 764). This opens up the way for KVP’s enlargement.

1994

• Quality Assurance Department established with the aim of setting up a comprehensive quality assurance system
• completion of a new staff building, including a canteen

1996

• Advantage, an anti-flea preparation, first manufactured

1997

• Dr. Willi Schiwy becomes the new Managing Director
