Getting here
A7 highway from Hamburg
- take the A7 towards Kiel/Flensburg as far as the Bordesholm highway intersection, where you change on to the A215 going towards Kiel
- go straight on at the “Kiel-West” intersection and follow the A215 towards the center of Kiel (“Kiel-Zentrum”)
- at the next exit take the B76 towards Eckernförde (“Olympiazentrum”, “Kiel Flughafen”)
- continue along the B76 for about 4 km (passing 2 exits), then go out at the next exit on the right towards “Eckernförde B 76 / Universität Wissenschaftspark / Holsteinstadion”
- do NOT get into the left-hand lane yet (that is for the B76 to Eckernförde), but continue as far as the crossroads at the “Holsteinstadion” (a stadium), before then moving over into left-hand lane and turning left here
- now go straight on, across the “Westring” (a ring road), past a Shell filling station, and then turn left into the Projensdorfer Straße towards “Gewerbegebiet Tannenberg“ (Tannenberg Industrial Estate); follow the main road with the right of way
- go along the Projensdorfer Straße for about 2 km; then take the second turning on the right after the railway level crossing
From the airport Hamburg
- KVP is about 60 minutes’ drive from the airport Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel
By rail
- Kiel Central Station has an ICE (express) service and is on the Hamburg-Flensburg line
- there are direct trains from several major German cities
- KVP is about 15 minutes’ drive from the station
